STUDENT CLUBS AT NGS
At NGS, Student clubs are an important part of life at our school, offering opportunities to explore interests, share talents, and develop new skills. From academic groups and cultural organizations to arts, sports, and service clubs, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
Beyond activities, clubs provide a place to build friendships, practice leadership, and create lasting memories. By joining, students become part of a supportive community that celebrates creativity, teamwork, and school spirit.
SERENITY SOCIETY
Serenity Society's vision is to help guide everyone in the NGS community to be proud Muslims and increase their Islamic values, knowledge, and habits. Its mission is to catalyze Islamic growth by organizing interactive and unique events and activities. It aims to educate students more about Islam, create an engaging Islamic club, increase parent student interaction across activities and to create impactful Islamic role models.
SPEECH & DEBATE
Speech & Debate's vision is to develop public speaking and debate skills that allow students to excel in the future. Its mission is to create a friendly environment where members will learn to speak up confidently and clearly and defend their opinions professionally.
FESTIVAL
Festival club teaches students life skills through creating entertaining events for the community by organizing activities and inspiring decorations to make the school an enjoyable and engaging environment. It aims to have its members be passionate about spreading knowledge through exciting events.
EXPONENTIAL
Exponential's vision is to develop student leaders who are proactive, have strong growth mindsets, and mature decision- making skills in order to become influential Islamic role models in their communities. Its mission is to create a safe community for student leaders where they can achieve their goals realistically, follow Islamic rules and develop their leadership skills by training leaders and providing them with any resources or knowledge they need to succeed.
Kidpreneur
Kidpreneur's mission is to expand students’ financial literacy by providing classroom jobs and educating them about money management and entrepreneurship, ultimately establishing student markets where they are properly running their own small businesses.
Honors Society
Honors Society's vision is to encourage students to excel academically, overcome challenges and ensure every student’s learning needs are met in an academically enriching learning environment. This will be done by setting high expectations for our members and supporting the larger student body through tutoring sessions.
NGS Ignite
NGS Ignite is the schools' magazine club. Its mission is for students to communicate through various arts like writing, drawing, and other platforms to share their interests, opinions and talents freely and respectfully. It aims to help writers and artists grow, develop their talents and thrive.
Houses
Houses' vision is to foster students' learning profile and leadership skills while helping them gain confidence, loyalty and a sense of belonging by collaborating with their peers. Its mission is to use assemblies, competition, and activities to help students build relationships with their peers while getting them to experience leadership opportunities in their classrooms and around the school.
TED X NGS Youth
The mission of the TEDx club is to build a community of leaders who collaborate to create a TEDx event by finding passionate individuals to speak at the event, share ideas, and amplify their voices. Through the TEDx event we aspires to inspire and empower our audience to speak up and change their behaviors.
Art & Design
Art & Design's mission is to equip the members of the club with the necessary fundamentals of art & design to enable them to independently explore and improve their knowledge and skills in the arts through fun projects, events and competitions.
SUSTAINABILITY
Sustainability Club’s mission is empowering the Next Generation to lead in sustainable practices rooted in Islamic Ethics by raising awareness and taking action to make the school more sustainable.
Literature Club
Literature Club will give students an opportunity to debut their writing and creative story ideas and read and discuss about their favorite books while being creatively inspired.
