UAE Flag Day at NGS — Honoring Our Home

Allahumma Barik! Today, NGS had the honor and privilege of coming together to celebrate UAE Flag Day — a day that carries with it a deep sense of pride, gratitude, and belonging.

We were truly honored to welcome Dubai Police to our school on this special occasion, joining our students in raising the UAE flag in a moment that was both powerful and deeply moving. To have those who serve and protect this nation stand alongside our students was a reminder of the values we strive to instill every day — respect, responsibility, and love for the community we are a part of. May Allah bless and protect them all.

Alhamdulillah, days like today remind us to pause and reflect on one of Allah's greatest blessings — a safe and stable homeland to call our own. A place where we can learn without fear, grow without limitation, and worship freely with peace of mind. In a world where so many are deprived of this blessing, we do not take it for granted. We are deeply, sincerely grateful.

The celebration itself was a wonderful reflection of our school community at its very best. Our teachers brought their warmth and dedication to every moment of the day. The Art Department adorned the event with truly beautiful work that added color and meaning to the occasion. Our parents showed up with their generous support, as they always do. And our students — they gave their absolute best, in every performance, every activity, and every moment of the celebration. It truly takes a whole community, and ours never fails to show up.

May Allah continue to bless this great land, protect it from all harm, and keep it forever filled with peace, goodness, and prosperity. And may He keep our hearts full of gratitude for every blessing He has placed in our lives. Ameen.
